Maryland Discrimination
Several federal laws provide
 workplace discrimination protections for employees. In addition, the 
Maryland Fair Employment Practices Act (MFEPA) provides broad workplace 
discrimination protections to employees in Maryland.
Covered Employers
The MFEPA generally applies to employers with at least 15 employees in Maryland during 20 or more calendar weeks in the current or preceding calendar year.
